This is a Salaback Church podcast.

Today is a great day. This is the week after Easter. And it's kind of funny yesterday I was

coming out for our Saturday night service and I hug somebody and I said, happy Easter.

And I guess I'm just like still in the Easter mode.

I don't know.

But you know, on Monday, all of our volunteers who served like all weekend long, 10 plus services,

everybody had a little bit of a holy hangover.

So if you see a volunteer this week, kind of still not back with it, that might be why.

But I do want to say thank you to all of our team that served an amazing weekend last weekend.

Literally hundreds and hundreds of people who made decisions to follow Jesus here for the first time.

What an incredible week it was.

And today we're starting a brand new message series.

It's called The Promise of Peace.

And we're going to look over these next four weeks

at the promises God gives to us from the Bible

to experience his peace in our lives.

And if we're honest with each other,

the subject of peace connected to anxiety, worry, and fear,

peace is often a hard mindset to come upon.

And actually, studies are showing us right now that in our culture, anxiety, fear,

and worry is on the rise.

Mental health issues are increasing in our culture.
