So I wanted to update you on something we've been working on here at the Keatsman

House and around this podcast.

I hope you'll just indulge me for a moment or two because it's very important to us in

the city of Lenoxa, but it's a wonderful lesson for everyone listening about what's really going on there. We've been knocking on a bunch of houses this week, doors in our neighborhood, and you knew that I was going to do this. I wanted to tell you what this experience has been like. And then in a couple of minutes, I'm going to repost the interview with Joe Carlin, who's running for mayor in Lenoxa, because a lot of the doors that

we knocked on, we told people, hey, there's this podcast. You want to hear what Joe is about. You know, don't worry about what it is that I say. All right? What I have to say about, you know, crazy Julie, who he's running against. It's not that. He's not saying that. doesn't. And we know that there's a lot of that in politics. And we have a couple people in this,

we're really at the epicenter of a very interesting local election, right where I live.

Our council ward and our mayor want to completely

change the city of Lenoxa. They want to change it from what's been a basically a moderate Republican

stance for many, many years, nonpartisan, nothing in your face, just do the right things,

take care of the budget, make common sense decisions, back your police force, create safe

neighborhoods, make sure people to, their property value goes up and their taxes remain low,

all of those things. You know what this is all about. All right, there's been nothing extreme here

in Lenoxa. That's why Lenox is so great. We have a mayoral candidate and a council candidate

in my ward that will flip the entire thing,

and they are not so moderate.

And they're not really nonpartisan.
