night at Harris, North Kansas City in the Cromwell room at the Clay County GOP Lincoln-Ragan

Trump Day dinner. I was the master of ceremonies.

Will Scharf from the White House was the special guest. We'll get to this story because it unfolded

while I was live on stage doing a Q&A with Will Sharp when his phone went haywire because of what

happened at the White House Correspondence dinner. We will play it all for you. I got it all recorded, and it is simply amazing. I've gone back and listened to this many times at a future podcast somewhere in the next couple of weeks. I'm going to play this entire program for you because it was an unbelievable evening. Will Scharf is incredible. He doesn't really do interviews. He's from St. Louis. He's a

Missourian. And so he's more than happy to come to the Clay County, Lincoln-Ragan-Trump Day

dinner and speak to folks that are running for office. There were people who were elected officials

that were there. It was a really nice evening. It was business attire. Folks were dressed nice,

not as nice to the

White House Correspondents. It wasn't black tie, but it was just a wonderful evening and a great

dinner and was truly my honor to be there and do this. And so we had gone through the opening

ceremonies, Pledge of Allegiance, invocation. We had a nice meal. The candidates that are running all got while we were eating dinner. It was weird. I didn't have any MC duties, which the way they did this was absolutely perfect.

Everybody running for office came up and got basically two minutes to say, hey, I'm running for this office. Some of them are very small offices. Some of them were Chris Stagall and Nathan Willett,

who are running for Congress in Sam Graves' seat that he's vacating. So that all happened through dinner. When it's over, I start the program. They honor some Turning Point USA folks. And then I speak for a few minutes, and you know the stuff I speak about, so we don't need to get into all that. I gave my speech, and then I introduced Will Sharf, who took the microphone for about 20 to 25 minutes and told some unbelievable stories, and you're going to love all that.

When I put that together in a podcast for you, you're going to love this because this was really, really a cool event.

And he opened up.
