Hey everyone, welcome back to Seeking Witchcraft. I'm your host Ashley and today I am doing a

solo episode on something that I am actually pretty stoked to talk about. It's something that now

with the upcoming holiday season, I think a lot of people really like getting in touch with

this. And it is something close to home, it's something warm, and it's earthy, and it is kitchen magic.

Also called kitchen witchery. And this is one of the most accessible and grounding ways to practice witchcraft.

And it's absolutely perfect for beginners. So whether you're brewing tea or baking bread or just making some soup or even your annual holiday meal, whatever that may look

like, you'll likely have all you need to engage with this type of practice. And so I'm just going to jump

into it. So I guess to start, what exactly is kitchen magic? And I would say the kitchen magic is

the practice of infusing your cooking or something with your meal

or something you're drinking or baking or preparing with magical energy.

This is magic that could be rooted in intuition.

It could be rooted into the ingredients that you use based on different associations, its connection to the elements,

and really kitchen witchery allows for your kitchen to become a sacred space and you can have

your cooking utensils be your ritual tools and making your meal just becomes part of your own ritual.

So this is super accessible to a lot of

people. Even if you are not a pro in the kitchen, I promise there are some things that are

very beginner friendly. So I think this is like such a fun topic. And when I first got

involved in witchcraft, I personally thought that kitchen witchcraft, kitchen witchery,

being a kitchen witch, whatever you want to call it,

was one of the easiest things to get started in the wide magical world of the craft

because I was able just to kind of figure out what I had at home and figure out the associations
