got a great episode for you today with former editor and chief of Spin magazine, Doug Broad.

Doug's got a new book out called They Just Seemed A Little Weird. How Kiss, Cheap Trick,

Aerosmith and Stars Remade Rock and Roll. He's sharing all the crazy ways these four bands

cross paths intersected with each other, how they were woven together. And in some cases

laid the foundation for bands that followed. He's got stories about some of their feuds

within the bands themselves and amongst each other kissing Aerosmiths still at odds

in a lot of ways. Who's friends with who to this day and who's not? And why he included

the little known band stars in this legendary grouping. I had never heard of stars until

reading Doug's book and I was surprised since they were managed by Kiss Manager Bill

of Coin. Had so much support behind the scenes out of the gate for the record company and

for the press. We talked about why stars never really made it and how Kiss felt about

them and why you guys should check them out. Now we dissect stage shows, performances,

the songs and songwriting. What the movie Rock and Roll High School would have been
