Here's one of the strangest arguments being made today from the group called by some the woke right.

It is not good for evangelicals for churches to invest in foreign missions.

Some will name check foreign missions and say it's still good to do, sure, but what we really

should focus on as believers is our own kind, our local context, and our immediate country.

We're not reaching that, and so we should not give the attention to foreign

missions that previous generations have. This is a very consequential argument. It deserves more

careful handling, as does, the broader concept that we should focus most on prioritizing our own ethnicity, on extending

Anglo-Saxon ties through the generations.

That's the argument of some.

These kind of claims deserve need further attention.
