Well, I have a confession to make church. I never really watched the TV show

Friends. Actually, wasn't a fan of it at all. But, oh, okay, some cheers. All right.

All right. Wow. Oh, shocking. Okay. Interesting moment here, church. I got to move on,

but that's curious. Fimulator. But I did watch one episode with Phoebe. I

remember she came into their apartment or whatever and they were watching the

show Old Yeller and they were all crying and she was confused. Why are you

crying? And they were like, because it's Old Yeller. She was like, it's a happy

family film. They're like, what? Even the end? And she said, well, yeah, he saves

the family from wolves and then my mom would always turn off the TV and say, the

end. They lived happily ever after. And they were like, I think your mom held

some things back from you. And then she begins to watch the end of Old Yeller

unfold. The rabies and you see her going, Tommy, put the gun down. What are you

doing? And she sees, well, there's some tragedy woven into the back end of this

story, right? Now, why mention that? Because that's exactly where we are in the

life of David. We're going to get to a point that we like to skip sometimes, but

there is a place for sadness inside out taught us that. That if you try to drive

sadness out of your mind and stuff it down deep inside, it will wreak havoc on

you and joy will get lost with it. That we have to journey with sadness if we

want to see hope return. And so here we're going to get to a point in David's
