The King is Indisposed. He has not been out in public since his

cancer treatment started. He did greet Jeremy Hunt the Chancellor of the Exchequer

at the occasion of the presenting of the budget.

We're told, however, he will not be attending the Westminster Games.

What is that, Gregory?

We've got a couple of minutes.

Well, his next big agenda item would have been the Commonwealth

day celebrated in Westminster Abbey and usually in Buckingham Palace as well which

involves a celebration of the Commonwealth of States,

which is led by Britain and particularly under the patronage of King Charles. So this is a big deal because there are going to

be all the ambassadors from the Commonwealth states. There'll be foreign ministers

and the like attending that and there'll be a big presentation of

the flags of all the Commonwealth states. So basically the Queen will attend that now and so too will the Prince of Wales and it now

looks like the Princess of Wales which is very good news because she's also just

emerging from a period of recuperation from that stomach operation that she had.

The fact that the king won't be there is important, but what really was encouraging was the fact that he met with

Jeremy Hunt on the presentation of the budget yes the king is definitely looking

weaker from the effects of presumably chemotherapy, which is inevitable at his age 75.

It's inadvisable in most circumstances to treat cancers with surgery and that's rather do it with radiation and and chemo or other other things. So it's understandable that he's going to be exhausted and weakened from that, but he did get up to meet

Jeremy Hunt and we know that he's been working on his dispatch boxes privately at home.
