Well, good morning, everyone. Oh, no, no. I flew from Canada. Good morning, good morning. There we go. I'm so glad that you're here today. I want to say hi to all the other locations wherever you might be. It's so good to be back with you. Miles called me a little while ago, and so would you like to come as a Canadian and hug us after our election? I said, I'd love to come and give you a hug from the north.

And so it's great to be here.

This is the next week in our series at this church out of the kingship of Jesus.

And as a community, we have been walking through and listening to the Old and New Testament

and finding out that there is one true only king.

And what we've heard week in and week out is everything in the end is going to be okay.

Anyone want to say amen to that?

Everything is going to be okay.

The heart of Jesus' ministry, teachings, acts, his presence was to introduce to establish to bring one thing, the kingdom of God. Jesus himself is the incarnation of the

kingdom come. And as we learn time and time again, the kingdom of God, or what Matthew calls the

kingdom of heaven, is not a full place yet. The kingdom of God is not the nation of Israel.

The kingdom of God is not the church. The kingdom of God is not established in geography. As one scholar said, the kingdom of God is not the nation of Israel. The kingdom of God is not the church. The kingdom of God is not established in geography.

As one scholar said, the kingdom of God

is any space or place where the reign and rule of God

is welcomed and accepted.

If you're a Christian today, and I know some of you are not,

but we who are Christians, we are members of the kingdom

because we welcome Jesus to be our savior and our king.

The kingdom is about God having relationship and rule within a human heart,

which will again be fully experienced in the new heavens and the new earth.

Yes, Jesus is king right now.

And yes, Jesus has won, but the kingdom will be found in capital our reality when he returns.
