Edward II is one the most talked about kings of England, but not for his bravery or his great accomplishments. Instead we have been told for centuries that it was a 'red-hot poker' that was his end.
Historian Kathryn Warner joins us today to debunk the myths and to answer listener submitted questions.
Also, by pure coincidence, our guest today also mentions Agnes Strickland's incorrect history on Edward II as well.
