Kindness, my friends.

Kindness, my friends. Kindness, kindness. It's almost as if nothing really matters without

kindness. Am I right? I know that we are always we always remember and feel great appreciation for people

who've been kind to us especially in low moments.

Am I right when you think back at your life when you've had a low moment, when you may be going through something, someone who gives you kindness or offers

you some kindness in that moment. It's like it seers in your heart somehow. I remember when I put it in my book, let it be easy. About a time that I was crying, waiting for a bus, because I knew that my

marriage was over, this was to my first husband in my 20s and a woman was so kind to me she said look I've been

divorced twice it's not a big deal she just gave me such perspective no judgment

and just like a smile and a hug, a stranger and I've never forgotten

it. When was that? Like, I can't even think near 15 years ago, even more. I remember my dad he was sent to boarding school he was very very

unhappy about it he was sent to boarding school and he was a child he said it was so

cold he absolutely hated it he ran

away once and he said that the head mistress when she was showing him around the

school with his mom she like ruffled his hair and she said, oh he'll be okay here, he'll be happy here.

And just that touch from someone in that place that felt so cold, her ruffling his hair was a memory that he held onto into his 50s.

That very small act.

I remember, actually, this is funny I saw Harry Styles wearing a t-shirt saying be kind and I was like oh no wonder I love Harry styles

guess what I recently saw him we were having lunch at the same restaurant in London just a couple of weeks ago. Check out my IG I did poster pick. He's there in the background.

I remember thinking, why do we all love Harry Styles? I feel like he comes to this place of truth and he is a kind person right I know I saw this other story where he offered to hold someone's dog while she ran into a restaurant to collect her takeout.

And he was like, yeah, you know, I'll hold your dog for you.

They're very strict in New York where dogs are and aren't allowed. Kindness. It's so easy to overlook when we're in such a hurry. Am I right?
