Week Junior show. Today I'm joined by two of the team from the week junior, the magazine Making

Sense of the World for 8 to 14 year olds. We've got Deputy Editor Rahul and and writer Kay. So lots to cover in today's episode. We're going to be talking about

kindness, which is the Oxford Children's Word of the Year for 2024. We'll also be finding

out about the 2025 city of culture and a woman who made a big donation to charity, plus

we'll be having a big debate about mega political

donations. So speaking of kindness, I want to know what is a kind thing you've done for someone

recently. I won't lie to you. I've been on the receiving end of a lot of kindness of late,

but I will say I bought my auntie some flowers recently and she seemed to very much like them

and it was just a nice thing to do, spread some joy. So that is my kind thing.

Rahul, I'm assuming you can top that.

So this was a couple of weeks ago when it was absolutely freezing.

It was a Sunday afternoon, I was taking my kids to see their grandparents for Sunday lunch.
