Hello, socialites, and welcome back to the Social Studies Podcast, the Podcast, to

because for the 9,000th time in my professional career, I've put off lesson planning all weekend

and should be doing that today. However, I'm probably not going to start until around

midnight, get half of it done before I fall asleep, then I'm going to race to work while

sipping hot coffee, burning the roof of my mouth, and speed get it done before the students

get there in the morning. Meanwhile, somebody will rush into my room and tell me about

19 other things that are due that day, and it will take every ounce of my sanity not

to tell them, I'm busy, please leave me alone. What, you know, I continue to fall down

this six cycle every single weekend. Here I am yet again, but I will say this. I don't

know how, but somehow it all gets done. So I'ma do me. You do you, and we're just going

to, you know, continue with our lives, Jane. You understand, Jane? You see what I'm saying,

Jane? We all got that Jane that we work with. She's super type A. The way that I work

sends her into a straight up panic attack. But at the end of the day, I'm getting mine done.
