Hi, Joe. Thank you so much for your podcast and encouraging everyone to focus on the

0:54.5

money in this very painful year. I'll try to keep this as short as possible, but no promises.

I'm a first-year teacher and I'm the youngest teacher at my school by like a lot. Almost every

1:06.4

other teacher in the building could have taught me elementary school. So I have zero credibility

1:11.9

in a lot of my co-workers' eyes. But my biggest problem is all these middle-aged women teaching

1:17.1

elementary school, but I feel like I'm back to being a middle schooler trying to find a place

1:36.8

1:42.0

1:47.2

so I'm getting the hell out of there. But Carrie Bradshaw voice, I couldn't help but wonder.

1:52.1

Since this is my first-year teaching, is this a common occurrence? Did I miss caddy teachers

1:56.8

one-on-one in grad school? How could I look for a school that doesn't have such a toxic environment

2:01.4

and start off in a better place with my co-workers wherever my new school is? Thanks so much.
