Summary
Hey Goblins and Boppers! This weeks episode is with ACTRESS AND BROADWAY STAR Kimiko Glenn!! Kimiko is amazing. You’ll know her face from Orange Is The New Black as the endearing Soso, her voice from nearly every cartoon including BoJack Horseman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Ducktales, and finally you’ll know her... singing from one of my favorite musicals ever, the originating cast of THE WAITRESS (Broadway, baby!) as Dawn Pinkett.
Kimiko (spelt Kimiko) joins Rick on the balcony as Quailman (Doug much?) for another "oops, I thought this was the Halloween episode" gag!
The two discuss her origins as a precocious child, to Boston Conservatory, and ultimately Broadway (Broadway, baby!) and how her overwhelming anxiety had her choose between TV and musical theater (spelt theatre).
Rick introduces her to the Goblin as she unpacks some of her childhood, as well as explaining the logistics of podcasting (available to Patreon members only at Patreon.com/takeyourshoesoff).
