She's of course a member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board and the author of

the new book, The Biden Malays, how America bounces back from Joe Biden's dismal repeat

of the Jimmy Carter years.

Kim, thanks so much for joining us.

Hi, thanks for having me.

Such an interesting book and such an interesting premise and folks can see just from the title

of the book right there.

It's kind of two parts.

One, you really make the case persuasively that Joe Biden is repeating the Carter years

in a lot of different ways.

And two, that the Reagan parallel is the appropriate way to kind of dig out of the Biden

Malays.

So if we can start just with the first part of that, the parallels between the Biden

economy and the Carter economy and maybe inflation is a great place to start because you go

through a number of different parallels.

What is so similar right now, almost eerily similar when we look at inflation?
