I went on the Prechies group to ask a question about our guest this week and the reality competition show that she appeared on. It's a really popular show where people in England bake things and are nice

to each other, almost as much a collaboration show as a competition show. Anyway, here's what I posted.

We have Kim Joy coming up on the show from the Great British Bake Off, called The Great British Baking

Show in the U.S. Has anyone found this show to be helpful for your mental health, or just comforting?

And if so, why is that?

The low stakes of the contest and the geniality of the contestants make it very soothing.

It's so nice to see a show where the contestants seemingly genuinely care about how each other does.

Kim Joy was on the ninth season of the Great British Bake Off, didn't win but came close.

Since then, she's put out three cookbooks and a collaborative card game called Kim Joy's Magic Bakery.
