Today, an update from Kim. Welcome to Walking is Fitness. This is a podcast of action, providing

0:11.9

a little extra motivation to help you keep that fitness promise you made yourself. Hi, I'm Dave. I started

0:18.2

walking for fitness in 2013. Still take an intentional fitness walk every

0:23.1

single day. I'm walking right now and I would love to have you join me for the next 10 minutes.

A little more than a month ago, I got an email from Kim, a new listener to the podcast. She had

0:36.5

found walking his fitness through the Start Today Facebook group.

0:41.3

1:43.9

Soon after she found the podcast and began walking, Kim sent me an email, and I read that in part on the episode January 5th.

1:53.3

So if you want to get the backstory of Kim with some more details, listen to that episode from January 5th.

2:04.6

Well, earlier this week, I got a very encouraging update from Kim, and with her permission, I'm going to share some of what she says.

2:08.6

Referring to her first email, I think I let you know that I had been walking for a while

2:12.6

but would always skip a day here and there.

2:15.6

This time, though, at your suggestion, I'm more focused on

2:19.0

making walking an everyday thing that eventually leads again to a lifestyle of 10,000 steps a day.
