I'm Maddie Mitchell and I'm your host today and always because, well, quite frankly,

this is literally my podcast so who else is

going to host it happy freaking Monday it is Monday July 14th that's astounding it's nothing shy of remarkable

and with a twinge of alarming and in a twinge of concern, I would say. How is it halfway through

July? That's feeling disturbing. Powering through and pushing on. I hope you guys had a

fabulous weekend. I hope you're feeling well rested and rejuvenated and ready to tackle whatever

life might throw at you this week. And I don't think that that's asking too much of your favorite podcast host.

If you couldn't tell by the title, this week's episode,

I am reading your stories of the craziest things that kids have ever said to you.

And I knew I was in for a treat when I posted this as a write-in submission and you delivered.

But I honestly, I would say maybe you didn't even deliver these children, they delivered.

All of the children of the world, they showed up and they delivered by way of accidentally

verbally eviscerating you or perhaps just saying the creepiest

shit that a child could say just the scariest creepiest shit that a child could say and that's

you know it is entertaining when it's not keeping you up at night and kind of haunting you it is entertaining

if you can kind of remove yourself from that side of it it definitely is good for a laugh okay

but these stories they're fabulous and I'm really excited to just kind of sit and laugh with you

I feel like all of us collectively are just needing a

giggle. We're just needing to to giggle about things that are completely harmless and innocuous

and just kind of disassociate for a second. So hopefully that's what this serves as. But before we get
