California Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed a bill that would ban school districts from

notifying parents when a student is struggling with their so-called gender

identity to move in response to initiatives by parents rights groups in

California but especially to a growing list of

conservative states that are trying to ensure that moms and dads are fully

kept in the loop if their child is struggling with this issue, or especially asked to identify as a

gender different from what's on their school record. In California, teachers and

administrators will now be quote unquote free to keep the secret if the child wishes.

In response to this Elon Musk announced that he would now move the multi billion

dollar SpaceX corporation from California to Texas while his stand encouraging, the fact that he even has to make a decision like this

is disheartening, to say the least.

The New California law assumes that children belong to the state,

and that the state is somehow a better guardian for children than parents are.

This despite a recent report that was published by the Federalist

that found that one in ten public school kids have experienced some kind of sexual abuse at the

hands of a school employee, a shocking number far higher than the well-publicized scandal

within the Roman Catholic Church.
