Good morning. Welcome back to Zach Jackson and friends. I am Zach Jackson, and the Browns preseason is over.

It's always a good thing. It's time to get to the real stuff. We will see what the real stuff brings.

I thought certainly Saturday's game against the Rams was an interesting one on many levels.

We will talk about that.

Those of you who have been coming here for a long time, know we've always been a pro-dil and Gabriel podcast.

So we will talk about that.

The roster straight ahead.

Tuesday, 4 p.m. is the deadline. Most teams are done early in the afternoon with their rosters. A lot of teams, especially the ones who played earlier, then Saturday, kind of do a first wave. Each year is different. Each approach is different. But every team goes from 90 to 53.

And then after 53 is done, that's when waivers hit on noon on Wednesday.

The Browns will be second in the waiver wire this week and all the way through at least the end of September.

That's when teams can officially build practice squads.

And so in the next two and a half days in the run-up, there will be some trades.

There will be some explored trades as teams kind of posture and other teams wait to see who's going to be released.

Always say it's generally much ado about very little, but we have seen some trade activity.

I think it's very clear the Browns need to get better at running back in a wide receiver.

If they can, they had three healthy linebackers right now, so that's a problem.

And then, of course, the biggest development for this team,

for the here and now out of the preseason opener was Ethan Poshick, the longtime starting center.

Rock solid, sturdy, big and smart, dude, really good player and really good find for this team

several years ago in the second wave of free agency.

He limped off.

He has a knee injury.
