Tuesday, 4 p.m. is the deadline. Most teams are done early in the afternoon with their rosters. A lot of teams, especially the ones who played earlier, then Saturday, kind of do a first wave. Each year is different. Each approach is different. But every team goes from 90 to 53.

And then after 53 is done, that's when waivers hit on noon on Wednesday.

The Browns will be second in the waiver wire this week and all the way through at least the end of September.

That's when teams can officially build practice squads.
