I welcome Selina Zito, the Washington Examiner, the middle of somewhere columnist, and an observer of the politics of Pennsylvania.

You will recall during the late campaign, Selina and I often talked of Pennsylvania, you will recall during the late campaign.

Celine and I often talked of Pennsylvania as the bellwether.

The candidate who wins Pennsylvania wins the White House.

It came to pass, and Mr. Trump was triumphant in Pennsylvania, at the same time not to

overlook two significant political actors from the state

on either side of the fence.

One, Mr. Federman representing Braddock, Pennsylvania and small town union-bearing population,

though he is a Harvard graduate, and David McCormick, who comes from the world

of heavy equity, big-time hedge fund. However, once upon a time, he was wild enough as a young man

to jump out of an airplane with a parachute that eventually opened over Gettysburg. So, two different actors from two different parties, and yet, Selina, a very good evening to you.

Do I detect a deal of republicanism in Mr. Federman and a deal of democratism, a progressivism in Mr. McCormick,

or am I just looking into a mirror and not seeing the right

thing? Good evening to you. Good evening. Thanks so much for having me on. So I think what you're

seeing is something we haven't seen for a while and that is pragmatism. And I focus on

representing your state as opposed to representing your party.

And I think that that's something that we will see from Senator McCormick,

but also continue to see with Senator Federman.

And I think both men are very reflective of what and who Pennsylvania and Pennsylvanians are.

And while one is a Republican and one is a Democrat, they both are pretty, have showcased their pragmatism and their willingness to go against

the grain when it's better for the state.
