Selina Zito from the western of the Keystone State, John Batchel from the eastern of the Keystone State.

We now turn to Selina Zito, reporting not only for the Washington Examiner as a columnist,

but as a special correspondent for the Washington Post.

Apparently, at this late date, Washington, D.C. has a notice that Pennsylvania is critical

in national elections.

Selena, congratulations.

Good evening.

And for your first coverage of our home state, Pennsylvania, you set with not only John Fetterman, the senator from the western part of the state, Braddock, Pennsylvania,

born in Bloomberg, I believe, but you set with David McCormack, the senator from the eastern part of the state,

though he now is roaming, and he is a Republican and the other one, and

Fetterman is a Democrat. Now, that strikes everybody a rest of country as odd, but it's something

I grew up with. Pennsylvania has always been somewhere in the middle of the electorate. Good

evening to you, Salina. Good evening. So both Fetterman and McCormick live in

Allegheny County with McCormick living in the city of Pittsburgh neighborhood of Squirrel Hill.

In fact, he lives a stone throw away from the tree of like synagogue.

And Fetterman hails from York and McCormick hails from Bloomberg,

about 100 miles from each other.

Like you said, they're both from the east.

And what I wanted to accomplish with this piece, and I hope people read it, is to see how much

Pennsylvania is very different from sort of your idea, if you're not from our state, is.

Most people, when they think Pennsylvania, they think Philadelphia.
