All right. So what's your take on this? Everybody wanted to blow it up. That's fine. I would have hoped they would have gotten some future ones in this package somehow.

But that's not going to happen. They're going to be got awful. They're going to win like eight games. They should play me, you and cakes.

I don't know. It's just going to be a lot of awfulness before hopefully this pans out.

Me and cakes. There's no defense in that group.

I don't like the only thing we know for sure about this is that, you know, they're in rebuild mode. And it's not, you know, a small rebuilt build.

It's tearing it down to the studs. Yeah. You know, rebuild. I think what we don't know for sure is that whether or not they're making the most of these trades, but the truth is they haven't had any leverage.

And either one of them so far, they had no leverage in the field deal. And porzingus had a player option. I mean, it was possible. They were going to get nothing back for porzingus. If he had opted out and become an unrestricted free agent.

So, you know, they're doing what they should be doing, you know, in the big scheme of things. It's just whether or not they're taking advantage of each of these trades.

You would certainly think going into it that feel and porzingus would have produced at least one first round pick. I mean, Boston gets porzingus and two first rounders and the wizards have a bunch of second rounders and tie his bones, who, by the way, maybe their best trade ship, you know, moving forward.

But I understand the frustration of not getting a lot back. But at the same time, I'm not sure that they had any leverage to get more back.

I mean, it certainly didn't in the field deal. I mean, Winger walked in and probably couldn't believe that he had a no trade clause. Now, he signs the deal anyway. He's not going to turn down the money. Whenever Ted is paying him. But when, when a guy has a no trade clause, he goes to whatever team he wants and he gets to pick the conversation coming back.

So, like, the wizards had zero leverage because I guarantee you they could have got it. Kevin, if you didn't have a no trade, I guarantee you they could have got a number one coming back from some team.

Right. But Bradley picked the team that he wants to play with and Phoenix doesn't have a first round pick to give. So, yeah, no doubt. Yeah. So, I mean, that's I also think I also think that, you know, the no trade clause was a big part of it.

But the 200 plus million left on his deal was probably even a bigger part of it, considering he had missed 74 games the last two years.

Yes. So, and, you know, by the way, he's not a, you know, he's not in a weak player. He's a true number two, number three on a really good team.

But you're right. The no trade clause meant that he and his agent got to pick the destination.

And then with with porzingis, who knows who Winger was talking to, what deals are out there.

But there might have been a deal where they could have gotten a number one back. But that team also might have wanted to give Washington another big time salary, which Winger is trying to avoid.

So there I trust Winger was making the best deals possible at the time for the future of the team. And yes, it looks shady when you don't get a first round pick for two big name players like that. But there are reasons.
