You know, Washington's next two games is for this upcoming season,

their best opportunity from a net rest advantage standpoint.

Remember, we've talked a lot about Warren Sharp's net rest data study that he does

where he basically goes through the schedule to find out which

teams have big advantages in a game based on rest and, you know, over a period of time,

teams with the least amount of rest during a 17 or 16 games schedule tend to be worse

than teams with a positive net rest advantage.

Well, Washington going into this season, has the third worst, based on the schedule,

the third worst net rest edge at minus 13 days.

Only Vegas and New Orleans have worse net rest advantages. The best

advantages in the league are held by Detroit, Miami, the Rams, 49ers, Seahawks, Cardinals, Ravens,

Cowboys, and Chargers. Now, the one big advantage game that Washington has is next week,

and the reason for that is they are playing tonight on Thursday night and then won't play again

for another 10 days. Meanwhile, their week three opponent, the Raiders, the Raiders play on Monday night.

So they have six days coming into the Sunday game.

So it's a plus four net rest day advantage for Washington.

But this is their best situation of the year. I would also add,

not only do the Raiders play on Monday night football, they play the second of a double

header on Monday night. There are two Monday night games. And that game doesn't kick in Vegas

until 10 o'clock Eastern, 7 o'clock Vegas time. And then they've got to come east

to play an early 1 o'clock game on Sunday, but it's also a 10 a.m. for them. And we know over

the years, West Coast going early to the East Coast to play a 1 o'clock game, usually is advantage East Coast team.
