Before we get to Denton, a pretty big story breaking in the NFL,

Adam Schaefter reporting that Mike McDaniel in Miami has been fired.

Mike McDaniel is now available, potentially to be an offensive coordinator.

Now, I'll tell you, and I'm going to get to what I was going to get to on the show today,

Max and I talked about it before.

I am becoming increasingly interested

in the possibility that Washington stays within their own building for Cliff's replacement.

And the obvious choice would be David Blow. Anthony Lynn, you know, and Brian Johnson obviously would

be in the mix. But David Blow is the guy

whose star has been ascending since the moment they hired him. And there's outside interest

in David Blow. Could be one of those things where they don't want him to leave the building.

But Mike McDaniel's now available.

And maybe that's a bit of a surprise.

And I don't know if that means Harbaugh's going to Miami.

Schefter's very clear here in his reporting saying that this was a move made by the

Dolphins independent of John Harbaugh's availability.
