according to Adam Schaefter.

But the big NBA news last night was that Trey Young was traded to the Wizards for C.J. McCollum and Corey Kispert.

You covered the Wizards forever.

This is as much your passion as anything else is.

So your reaction to it is what?

I think this is one of the most perplexing, bizarre, fascinating trades.

I can recall.

I don't like it from the Wizards perspective, which we can get into, just that I'm not a huge fan of small

point guards who don't defend that are overly ball dominant, and especially in serving

them into a team where the whole point of the last two or three years has been to develop

these younger players and build a winning culture. And Trey Young makes a lot of highlights,

but I don't know that he's a winning basketball player per se. But what's so fascinating about this trade is, depending on who you talk to, either the Wizards did, got a great deal because you view Trey Young is this, you know, multi-time all-star player, and they didn't have to give up any first-round picks to do it and

McCollum and Kisper doesn't seem like a big loss or Atlanta did a lousy job because all they got

for Trey Young were these two guys who were good players but not not standouts, not no picks

or people look at it as wow Atlanta got rid of Tray Young without having to give up any
