Welcome to Kermit, I'm Katanaugh, on going midterm report for the best and worst films

0:18.1

of 2014 so far and it's time now to count down numbers 10 to number 6, my least favourite

0:24.2

films of the year so far.

0:29.2

Number 10, Need for Speed, a film which demonstrates what it is about computer games that does

0:34.3

not transfer well to the screen, it's a 79 minute movie squeezed into 2 hours and 10 minutes,

0:40.4

it has a fantastically uncharismatic central performance by Aaron Paul, who generally

0:45.2

people love because of breaking bad, Imogen Poot is given nothing to do, but here's

0:49.0

the biggest problem with the film, it's a movie in which morally death race 2000 has

0:53.9

the upper hand, a number 9 sabotage, the latest Jerry Action outing from Arnold Schwarzenegger

1:06.0

in which he plays the leader of a crack team of outlaws with names like Monster, Pyro

1:11.0

and Smote which makes him sound like a militarized version of the Spice Girls, the film is

1:14.7

disappointing on two levels, firstly it's directed by David A, who did a pretty bang up job

1:19.2

of End of Watch and yet here it just makes a total full of himself and in the case of

1:23.7

Arnold Schwarzenegger, now some people are down on Schwarzenegger's acting in general, I think

1:27.6

he's been kind of okay in the past, but in this when he grimaces you go what are you thinking

1:32.1

is that anger, pain, fear, envy, orgasm, I have no idea. Is this over? No.

1:48.0

But number 8, The Other Woman, a fantastically irritating comedy which was sold as a tale of

1:53.4

sisters doing it for themselves, sadly they didn't appear to be doing it for themselves

1:57.8

or for each other or more importantly for us. But number 7, 300 rise of an empire, the

2:10.7

follow on to 300, and a film which actually made 300 look like a really intelligent piece of

2:16.8

work, it matches terrible computer game graphics with awful carry on humour and considering

2:23.1

the staggering amount of bloodletting and carnage on screen, it's really impressive just how
