Jack Ryan is back. This time, in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit. It's the fifth film about the Tom Clancy Everyman Good Guy turned hero.

This time Jack travels to Moscow to uncover a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy.

He's played by Chris Pine with a supporting cast that includes Kevin Costner and Kira Knightley,

plus the film's director, Kenneth Branagh, who plays the Russian mastermind behind the terrorist plot.

There's always so much stuff I wanted to talk to you about.

And one of the things I was thinking about, I mentioned to you backstage,

is as I was watching this, I kind of thought of,

Spy who came in from the Cole,

and that kind of sort of gray feeling of lots of dark rooms and sort of like sunless skies and you were saying that wasn't a movie you watched to get ready

for this. It was. It's a black and white movie that has a very sort of heavily atmospheric

in the way it sort of broods on the preoccupations of the central

character and one of the things I said to Chris Pine when we were doing this and one of

the reasons I wanted to do it because he was already attached and the script came to me with

him attached and I was very excited to work with him was the opportunity to watch him thinking inspired who came in
