This is the John Campia show where we talk about the things that we love. Movies and movie news,

TV and streaming and all that sorts of good stuff. We're awfully glad that you're joining us here today. Of course, I am your host, John Campia. Good to have you guys here. And joining me in studio today is our technical producer, Jonathan Voico. Yeah, you can just call me Jonathan. I'm good. Writer, director, producer, Robert Meyer Burnett. Squeeze my testes. And most importantly, you guys are here.

Thank you so much for being here, making our little show a big part of your day. Here's how our show's going to go. We're going to start off by talking about a few predetermined topics we got lined up for you guys. And then in the second part of the show, that's where we're going to take your live comments and questions. All right, guys, listen, we got a lot of things to talk about here today, so we're going to get

things going, and we're going to start off with this.

You guys will remember that about a week ago, we talked about the leaked X-Men Avengers

Doomsday trailer, to which my comments section was

flooded with people saying, John, you're so stupid. That's a fake AI thing. To which I said,

no, this is really the thing. No, you don't know anything. It's a fake eye. Well, that fake AI thing is

now playing in theaters. Once again, in front of Avatar, Fire and Ash. And it's glorious IMAX size. And you saw it in its full... I still haven't seen it on a big screen. Me neither. I literally just went into Avatar to watch the trailers. I grabbed a cup of coffee at the concession. It was like 9 a. watched the trailers watch the odyssey one and then left

and then there was there you had it but i did finally get to see it in its pure non-potato

pure hd glorious goodness and i thought even though we talked about about a week ago now that

all of you guys have had a chance to see it i I thought we'd go over it again. First of all, I mean, just going through the

X mansion, hearing those words from Magneto, death comes for soul. You know, and that line that he

says, the question is not, what does he say says the question is not what does he say the question is not

how will you face it or whatever but it's who will you be when you close your eyes right right

i just oh man that line is so good kind of like charles quoting the once in future king

kind of little reminiscent of that then of course

the two of them playing chess together yeah which is like I think Magneto and Charles playing

chess together is probably the most iconic imagery of that whole era of X-Men I think that pretty
