want to hear your story because you're a mom, a photographer, an educator, you've done

Yeah, so like you said I started off as a teacher that was kind of always the path I had laid out for me. I had come from a family of a ton of educators.

I just, that was what I envisioned.

And so I got my undergrad in elementary.

I taught for about seven years

and then decided I was like there's something I'm just not fully feeling like this is where I'm meant to be and so I kept searching searching searching I went back and got my master's degree in education. I thought maybe I want to be a curriculum

director and I started writing curriculum for small school districts. I really fell in love with that.

Around the same time, I was like,

I'm gonna pick up photography.

Like this was sort of a, like I wouldn't even say a hobby.

It was just something I loved as a kid, like I love taking pictures. My mom and I both have that kind of skill set of like we just love capturing moments. And so I was always the kid with like a little disposable camera or my Polaroid or whatever I could find and so I thought you know it'd be kind of fun like my husband bought me a digital camera for Christmas one here and I thought let's get into this and it was just like a little creative

outlet and then I started really and started spending more time focusing on in the evenings like less on curriculum and lesson planning and education and more on like photo shoot ideas and learning all these different techniques.

And I really kind of dove head first into that.
