Good morning. It is Tuesday, September 13th and things that are trending this hour, the consumer

price index. It was released today. This is one of the last pieces of info the feds will get before

they raise rates next week. It was up 0.1 percent in August, which means it's up to 8.3 percent

year over year. And the big story out of this obviously is with gas prices being down and it's

important to recognize gas prices are down in large part because people stop driving because gas

was so expensive that everything else in order for gas to be down, which is a major part of this

equation, and it overall to be up, everything else is skyrocketing. Yeah, like food, shelter,

medical care. Maybe you're a victim of shrink inflation like I was with my pop tarts at the Walmart

in which what was once a four package of pop tarts, Walmart brand pop tarts. Now three,

and I guess you have to buy the thing and pay super close attention to figure that out because

there's not some big sign saying same price for your pop tarts. Yeah, sorry. What someone at Walmart

owes me an explanation. You got to pay attention to the packaging. Oh, it's told that's shrink

inflation, shrink inflation. You're getting less for the same amount of money. Yeah, also trending

is John Foley. He is Peloton's co founder and now the former CEO. He is stepping down and so

is their chief legal officer. This is a part of a massive transformation plan for the fitness

company. And finally trending. You'll love this Rob. Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Apple Bees,

and Chili's. Uh-huh. Somebody had posted on Twitter. I don't understand how the following

restaurants are still in business. Oh, and it has taken off with people espousing their opinions

on Chili's, Apple Bees, Olive Garden and Red Lobster. Well, what does it mean? They don't understand

how they're still in business like they don't understand the business model. Why people would eat

there? I think it's a why people would eat there or how they maintained. Well, here's the deal.
