Okay, I'm fascinated by what's going on in Missouri.

Okay, so Missouri, so many states have what they call ballot measures in which citizens can get a certain amount of signatures and they can get items for the public at large to vote on.

Indiana does not have this, but the states have ability to recall politicians, these ballot measures, etc.

Missouri is interesting because Missouri actually has two layers to their ballot initiatives.

One is to make something a law, and then another is to put it in the Constitution.

Right.

There are signature thresholds that come with both of those.

So the signature threshold associated with making something a law to get it voted on by the public is much lower than a constitutional change.
