Okay, so there's something going on right now in central Indiana,

and it is another example of how government can't run anything.

And yet we keep letting them do more stuff. So Citizens Energy Group has offered to buy

Whitesown's water utility system for the low low discount price of $37 million. Okay. So many of you

know, Whitesown, right off Interstate 65, Boone County. It basically sprung up. It was,

Whitestown was a very, very, very small town for many, many years. There's actually an old Whitestown downtown. It's been several years since I've been there.

There wasn't much left. I don't know if they've

done any major renovations to it or whatever. But at one point, Whitesown, which is next to Zionsville,

was essentially a blip on the map. And I'm simplifying a very complex thing over many decades.

And then a commercial development grew up out of that called Anson, and that was a part of Whitesown.

And then out of that, over the past 15 to 20 years, Whitesown for people who, not just a grudge with Zionsville,

but competition with Zionsville has exploded in growth.

And Whitesown and Zionsville have been in mass competition

with each other. And there have been lawsuits and annexations and all sorts of things. And

Whitesown is a perfect example of when growth just happens and there's not a lot of rhyme or reason to much of it and what they have now found themselves in.

A great example of seeing how a community is run is how they run, operate, and charge their utilities.
