Jim Roberts is in the studio this morning and Donald Trump is now backing what Elon Musk and Vivek Ramoswami have put out there saying that the H-1B visa is a good thing. So Elon Musk and Vivek Ramoswami, they have been advising Donald Trump to bring in more

foreign tech workers, particularly through this H-1B visa program, and that is to address a shortage

of skilled talent in the tech industry. Donald Trump said that he's always

liked visas. He's always been in favor of the visas. That's why we have them. And he went on to say

that he has many H-1B visas on his properties. He's been a believer. He's used it many times,

and it's a great program. However, that's a little bit of

a change because in the past, Donald Trump has been critical of the H-1B visas, calling them very

bad. He's also called them unfair. So his views have changed and this has sparked a lot of debate among Trump supporters over immigration

and the entire tech industry's reliance on foreign workers. Critics have argued that they allow

businesses to replace American workers with cheaper foreign labor. Yeah, look, there are, and this could be part of the confusion.

Again, what we talked about in the last hour is this is a complicated, nuanced topic.

And while we do want the best and brightest coming to this country, there are problems with

the H-1B visa program.
