last time? Well obviously that's intriguing to a lot of people because she has a generally non-interventionist

policy and this is the balancing act of being an effective president when it comes to foreign policy because it's not

realistic to say well we're not going to have any involvement anywhere at any time

that that's an idealistic approach and not a bad one, but it's not realistic.

The reality is we do need presence, that presence being the key word,

across the globe because there are strategic interests alliances etc that we do have a vested

interest in ensuring protection for. But there is a vast difference between having a presence

and having active involvement.
