It is Thursday, February 15th, five minutes after 10.

It's Kendall and Casey on 93 W.I. B. C. So it is going to be a busy weekend in Indianapolis

this weekend. Thousands of basketball fans inundating the capital city for the upcoming

NBA All-star game.

You know it's crazy and I didn't even realize this because I look I have long just watched for the most

part the playoffs of NBA basketball because that's when those guys start trying and they

start playing defense and they actually, you know, they officiate the games kind of in an interesting

fashion. And so I don't regularly engage in regular season NBA basketball.

But the NBA All-Star game is quickly becoming the pinnacle event of the NBA.

In the NFL, the Pro Bowl, nobody pays attention to it anymore. It's not even

real football, its skills challenge or flag football or whatever. The all-star

game has lost kind of its luster in Major League Baseball, the World Series is still the Krem to la Krem.

But for the NBA, you look at the attention and fanfare, the NBA All-Star game has now in many ways

surpassed when you talk about the dunk contest three point

contest all the celebrity stuff it is now bigger than their actual NBA
