Power has been out. It wasn't fixed in a timely manner and people are really upset.

and for Casey. And oh, look who it is. He spent 30 years in the Indiana Senate, our

good friend, Jim Merritt. How are you? Good morning, Robert. Ethan's a good guy. I

enjoy listening to him. He's like him because you don't know him. And I know you and I

like you. You have a very low bar to hop over. So by that center, yes. Ethan's a saint.

Yeah. Okay. So I think you were we're going to talk about AES and all the issues going

on with them, the people who are just outraged about these power outages and the untimely, or

what they believe is untimely manner in which they were fixed. But first of all, you are

uniquely qualified to comment on this because in your 30 years in the Indiana Senate, you

oversaw utilities for a big portion of that time. Yes, sir. And it was a roller coaster.

And the idea of utilities, it's almost like a trust that when I was growing up, citizens,

citizens was a trust. And you you saw their executives running around in a little white

chavats and and they just were kind of the brick and mortar the community. Yeah. So, but

it has changed. And so I actually want to do a little bit of a deep dive on this. And the

reason we're doing this is we've received a lot of feedback of people saying, you need to talk

about this because we were impacted by this. And I thought nobody, nobody better than you

because you oversaw the committee that oversaw these people for years. Robert, I'm glad we're

talking about it because the utilities of the state of Indiana have to be the bedrock.

They have to be the foundation. And when AES was IPL, and they they this is decades ago,

but they went through North West, Mary County, like Sherman went through Atlanta with tree trimming.

And that's where all the that's where all the regulations came. And I helped a little bit with
