So President Biden, he's embarking on his reelection campaign. But while he's doing this,

just 33% of American adults say they approve of his handling of the economy.

And only 24% say national economic conditions are in good shape.

What?

Yeah, and this is according to a new associated press poll.

So this poll is, it reestablishes what we, I mean, I think anybody with

remote amounts of common sense would already come to the conclusion on.

But it is nice to see this in print again, because it, as I said, it reasserts what is widely known.

And that is the Joe Biden through his policies, which have not helped.

And in many cases, severely hurt Americans is a very vulnerable president, especially in terms

of his reelection. It also, and I want to give that a second, but it also underscores the position

of strength McCarthy could have operated from had he chosen to do so in these debt ceiling

negotiations. Look, it's not like you have some beloved president here who people go,

Hey, everything's working out very well. We really shouldn't touch anything.

Just leave it alone and give him one in once and everything will be fine.

People are telling you they want change. People are telling you they want you to get inflation

under control. And we're going to talk about a little bit later in the show, this new poll out,

where economists say not changing anytime soon. And both sides equally share the blame on this.
