for joining us. So my shocked face yesterday, Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy

could not reach an agreement on the debt ceiling. The US government is now $31.4 trillion in debt.

And we've got nine days before a possible default. And again, this is a great example of where

what's the, what was the Dave Mason song? There ain't no good guy. We just disagree.

There ain't no good guy. There ain't no bad guy. It's only you and me and we just disagree.

But in this case, I guess again, not to an anyway run a foul of the great poet that is Dave Mason

later covered by your celebrity boyfriend, Billy DeLine. They're all bad guys here.

And the reality is that Kevin McCarthy and the Republican party is wholly invested in doing

as little as possible to curtail spending, yet being able to con you to believe that they

actually care. And so this is the, this is the, the needle that Kevin McCarthy is trying to

thread here, which is to can, and look clearly, he's got guys like Jim Banks, who are

totally in cahoots what they bought in this. I mean, there's been clear marching orders because

as we, we talked about in depth yesterday, Jim Banks putting out those just gross tweets where he's

lying to the American public. The Republicans care about the curbing the national debt when

this plan adds roughly 15 trillion to the national debt by 2033.

Jim Banks said Republicans want to cut the national debt. Democrats want to grow it. That's

simple. That is the oddest cut I've ever heard Casey where the cut still grows the national debt

by 15 trillion. So the little game they're playing here and look, we all know the Democrats are bad.

We all know what Biden is. People all the time, why are you so mean to the Republicans? How about

a little hate for the Democrats? Well, the Democrats didn't tell me they're better. The Democrats
