I don't know what they're trying to accomplish, though.

So let's get to the bottom of it.

Casey's out today. Jim Merritt in for Casey 30 years in the Indiana Senate. First of all, like I said,

you spent 30 years in the Indiana Senate. I did a protest, and I'm sure you saw many, many,

many of them over the years. Did a protest ever move you on public policy? You know, I don't know

if you remember the red shirt with the teachers.

Angry red shirt of teachers. Yes. We had a lot of fun with them.

Yes. And they packed the state house. Didn't bother me a bit.

Now what about your colleagues?

Well, I don't know. I don't remember any major movement.

Because you were the number two guy in the Senate, which meant you were sort of like the dad of the Senate. Did some cowardly freshman senator come running into you and, oh, Mr. Barrett, the angry red shirt of teachers. There's thousands up there. We got to do it. Like any of that? Well, if there wasn't Mr. I was said, Senator, I said, Senator to you. And you know. Son. And you know I don't worry about tiles.

But no, I don't think any of the members, our caucus was so patient and so, you know,

a public policy oriented and so tied together that I think the only only protests that went through

the state house that bothered our caucus the Republican Senate Republican caucus was RFRA oh yeah

and because uh so wait wait wait just I'm sure most people are familiar with this but just in case
