Good morning. It is Wednesday, January 15th, seven minutes after nine. It's Kendall and Casey on 93 WIBC.

So the Senate Republicans have released their 25 legislative agenda, and it focuses on property tax reform,

lowering health care costs, good government measures, fiscal integrity, water resource management,

and also Medicaid cost

containment. But let's focus right now on Senate Bill 1 because that was released yesterday.

That is the property tax reform bill. All right. Now, they should have named this the Rob Kendall

Honorary Put More Money Back in Your Pocket Act since for the past four years, nobody has been more vocal about this than this show.

But that being said, the bill, yes, was released yesterday. Now, I will preface by saying, I am not an attorney.

I do not pretend to be one on television or the radio. I do know a thing or two about

reading governmental legislation. All of that being said, I am not 100% through this bill

yet because I have a full-time job. I am a father. I am a husband. I do have part-time gigs that I

participate in as well. And so everything I'm about to tell you,

I'm telling you from what I have read and the confirmations I have received from various power

brokers and power players thus far. I'm going through it right now. I'm scrolling through it to

see how long it is. And I am at 45 pages. So you didn't read the whole thing?

45 pages? Here's the problem about reading

government legislation. And I like I had to write some of this stuff when I was the pharmacy board

director. And so I have a bit of experience, obviously as a former municipal elected person as well.

Like it takes you 10 minutes to read one page because there's so many unless you're trained in this

world and I've been out of it for so long that I am not anywhere close to being efficient in it
