What a fun parade that is.

I know there's oftentimes, just like any parade, you always have some issues.

There's always somebody who wants to cause problems.

But it is a fun parade.

I used to cover it when I was at Channel 7 for years.

The one thing that they tell you about, the pre-parade that they do at like five, six o'clock

in the morning, part of the tradition is to take a bucket of black paint or grease

and dump it on somebody. And usually whoever was the best dressed person would get it and

I remember the first year I covered it my photographer great guy Marvin Hoffman he's still over at

channel 7 as a photographer Marvin saw as he was setting up the camera with me he saw somebody

running up behind with buckets of or a huge bucket of grease and here i am all dressed
