you probably remember me if you say that name, Rosado. Who is this guy? No, it's not because

I was hung up on the post office wall, although that's another story about the incident we won't

even talk about. You probably best remember me from 20 years anchoring the morning show at Channel 7. And these days I host a daily show on a New Jersey-based news channel. It's called On New Jersey. So nice to be with you here on your Monday, Labor Day. We got so much to talk about. We want to

hear what you have to say. We do have somebody waiting. I promised I was going to hold him over from the last break. And I am going to get to him when we do our phones in a little bit, so don't go anywhere. 1-800-3-2107-10. By the way, the West Indian American Day parade going on in Brooklyn today. What a fun parade that is. I know there's oftentimes, just like any

parade, you always have some issues. There's always somebody who wants to cause problems, but it is a

fun parade. I used to cover it when I was at Channel 7 for years. The one thing that they tell you

about the pre-parade that they do at like five, six o'clock in the morning.

Part of the tradition is to take a bucket of black paint or grease and dump it on somebody.

And usually whoever was the best-dressed person would get it.

And I remember the first year I covered it, my photographer, great guy, Marvin Hoffman.

He's still over at

channel 7 as a photographer Marvin saw as he was setting up the camera with me he saw

somebody running up behind with buckets of your huge bucket of grease and here I am all

dressed up in a suit I had only started a channel 7 like a year or two before.

I was relatively new.

I didn't know this was a thing.

Marvin said, can he grabbed me and threw me in the back of our live truck and shut the door

just as the guy hurled this big bucket of black grease?

I would have had it all over my suit.
