Here's Debbie Millman. Many years ago, when he was working on a project for the Louvre, Ken Carbone happened upon Paul

Gogon's journal from the time the artist was in Tahiti.

and he's been drawing and clipping

and pasting his way through life ever since.

He's amassed an amazing collection of sketchbooks. They're full of book reviews, collages,

secrets, and visual essays on historical events. Ken is also the author of Virtuoso, a portrait collection of people who are the absolute best at what

they do, and he is the co-founder and creative director at Carbone Smolin, one of the world's great design firms.
