And he's the author of 11 books, many bestsellers. He's had his own column in the New Yorker since what 1983?

No, I started writing the New Yorker in 77 but my

animals in 92. 92. All right I'm going to kill the person who told me it was 83.

But you started writing for the New Yorker in 77.

So that's how I've been reading you along.

I think I started reading a New Yorker when I was 15.

So a few years, a few years after that. And Ken has a new, a

sensational new book coming out June 5th called Frenemies about the disruption

in the advertising and marketing. the organizes the artists and writers. He captains one of the teams in the

artist and writers game in the Hamptons. But you played in which I played in last

summer and I played a nifty second base but I was yanked for a better hitter.

70th anniversary right? Yeah we played third third Saturday in August.

Who's like the most famous artist who you've ever played in the game with do you think?

Well, you know, they have these ringers.

I mean, they're George Clooney, the former heavyweight champion for one match they claim was an artist they brought

him yeah Jerry Jerry Clooney yeah and and he he never played softball before and his idea of what you did was you ran down first base and you knocked over the first base.
