Kelly, what's going on out there in the Hollywood land?

Well, real quick, you know, it came in number one at the box office,

but the Mandalorian and Grogu now have the unfortunate honor or dishonor,

or dishonor, I guess you'd say, of having the lowest opening weekend ever for a Star Wars movie since Disney bought the franchise in 2012, which a lot of people are still upset about, but they have a really cool park at Disney World.

They do.

You haven't visited it.

The record was previously held by 2018's Solo, A Star Wars Story, which coincidentally

also opened over a Memorial Day, four-day weekend.

Yes, but that earned 103 million Mandalorian and Grogu made, depending on, you know,

because it kind of fluctuates, the final totals came in last night. So anywhere between $100 and $102 million.

Either way, it's not going to hit $103 million.

On the bright side, this one didn't cost as much to make.

They said it only cost $165 million.

And globally, the movie's already earned $163 million.

So they're at least going to get their money back, right?

Obsession, well... 63 million, so they're at least going to get their money back, right?

Obsession, well, did I skip apart?

Anyway, the real big story this weekend is obsession, which costs less than a million to make,

but it opened it was 16 million last weekend.
