| 0:31.3 | staying home and knitting. But anyway, in Moses 8, we learned about someone who might have had the |

| 0:39.5 | and that's Methuselah. |
| 0:41.3 | Methuselah was the son of the prophet Enoch, and a member of the city of Enoch that became |
| 0:45.7 | so righteous they were all translated and taken up into heaven, except Methuselah. |
| 0:51.7 | Not because he wasn't righteous enough, but because someone had to stay behind |
| 0:55.8 | and continued the priesthood family line through which Noah would be born. Can you imagine |
| 1:00.6 | how he felt as every family member and friend was taken into the rest of God? Then to make |
| 1:06.9 | matters worse, after everyone was gone, quote, there came forth a great famine |
| 1:11.9 | into the land and the Lord cursed the earth with a sore curse. |
| 1:16.4 | Not only was Methuselah separated from his friends and family, but he was also stuck in |
| 1:20.5 | an awful famine. |
| 1:22.1 | But here's the amazing thing. |
