0:14.6	a podcast about health, healing, and high performance. And this episode has a little bit of
0:19.7	everything because it's also the Q1 wrap-up episode.
0:24.5	Now, I understand that it's May.
0:26.2	I understand that it's Mental Health Awareness Month, but I had a goal to release six
0:31.2	episodes in Q1.
0:32.8	I got to five, and then I got sick, wasn't able to record.
0:39.5	And then I was recovering from everything that happened pretty much for the month of April. And so here I am in May, finally recording
0:45.6	that Q1 wrap-up episode. So the first thing I wanted to talk about was the world indoor
0:50.9	master's track and field championships that took place in Gainesville, Florida,
0:55.6	at the end of March. And so going into this competition, I had a few goals in mind.
1:00.5	Number one was to have fun. Number two was to smile before and after each jump.
1:06.9	Or I guess maybe that's a practice and not so much a goal. And then number three was to set new personal records or new personal best in both the long
1:15.7	jump and the triple jump.
1:18.1	And prior to this, I had a goal to make the finals, but I realized I couldn't control what
1:23.6	other athletes jumped.
1:24.9	And if I jumped well, I jumped well.
1:27.5	If I jumped well and didn't make the finals,
1:30.3	not making the finals doesn't mean that I didn't jump well.
1:33.9	So I removed that as a goal because I couldn't control it.
1:36.9	But I'm proud to share that I did end up making the finals
1:40.7	in both the long jump and the triple jump.
