We have to talk about the NBA playoffs because NBA playoffs are going on all around us.

I just watched the Wizards get trashed last night as expected. But I want to talk, first of all, about the saga of Kauai Leonard, because it remains a complete and utter fucking mystery to me. The Spurs are down. I believe they're down to nothing to the rockets already, right? They're going to get swept. Yes. The Warriors, but yeah. Yeah. Yes. And they'll be doing this because they will not have Kauai Leonard, who has been medically cleared to play, despite having a quad injury, and has been essentially in communicato with the Spurs for months now? Yeah, since, like, October at least. He played, I think he played a handful of games at some point, and then it was like, nah, fuck it, I'm still hurt, and then just left. And now there's some thing today I saw that how he's, like, not responding to their texts and calls in a timely manner. It's all getting really, it's got like some serious bad breakup vibes. Like, it's all gossip at this point more than it is anything else.

I do, I do love the general caddiness of the NBA. And I love any, I love any report where it's like he's not responding to texts. Like, he's, like, he's pictures of somewhere

with a corona. Right. Like, he's emotionally distanced himself from the assistant coaches.

It's just, you know, he says the right things, but the feeling isn't there.

So what do we think is going on?

Because this doesn't make any sense to me because this was a guy who I had in, look,

fair enough, I have not followed this closely enough.

But in the past years, Kauai was an MVP candidate for me or the past two, three years.

And I've never heard any stink about his desire to play or anything like that.

So what the fuck is going on?

Yeah, he's like, I guess if you were going to pick one superstar who you'd be like,

oh, this guy's never going to have a weird flame out with his team and force a trade, it would be Kauai Leonard, which I don't know, maybe now we're learning was more just projection because he never really spoke or did anything publicly. Because he was a spur. So you're like, oh, well, he's a highly advanced robot, but he's good at playing defense. Yeah. So if you're just like a quiet spur and you're good, everyone just assumes you're a swell guy, but you could be like a serial killer, nobody would know. Tony Parker has definitely gotten away with a lot. Yeah, spurs get away with a ton of shit, man. Like, they've had a lot of drama. Yeah. No one really takes that seriously.
